We’re not afraid to say it. As conservatives, we disown Rush Limbaugh.

Speaking for myself, yes, I know the video above is from Air America.  I’m not concerned about the idiotic commentary from Air America. I am concerned about the commentary from Rush.  After years of listening to him faithfully, and believing him, I’ve had it.

I can’t, I won’t, listen to Rush any more.

Here I am, well in to the last third of my life, and I know that I have been wrong to follow Rush Limbaugh.  I don’t side with Keith Olbermann, who calls Rush an “entertainer.”  On the other hand, Rush is in business to grow his ratings.  Frankly, I’ve found myself asking, “What have I been doing all these years, listening to Rush?” as I watch him talking into a gilded microphone.

I can’t take him seriously any more. My conscience tells me he’s wrong for Conservatives.

So I chart a new course here.
